Chatham resident, Susan Shah felt a need to say thank you in a way that was big enough to represent the feelings of all Chatham residents: feelings of gratitude for the service of so many people who make it possible for others to be safe, fed and cared for; feelings of awe for the bravery of those people who walk into scary or dangerous environments every day; and feelings of hope for a sustained shift in culture where everyday heroes replace celebrities, athletes and performers as the true recipients of attention and admiration.
