The Chatham Chinese Association (CCA), a not-for-profit organization which is comprised of nearly 300 residents in Chatham and surrounding communities, has donated $1,500 to the Chatham Emergency Squad to help in its efforts to provide pre-hospital care to residents in need, especially during a state of National Emergency.
“The Chinese Community within Chatham really stepped up and helped us where we needed it most,” Evan Skinner, President of the Chatham Emergency Squad, said. “Their monetary donation is enhanced by the strength of their organization coming together for the greater good. Collectively, they unearthed valuable resources which will undoubtedly protect our members as we navigate patient care during these difficult times. Their contribution comes at a pivotal time and is greatly appreciated.”
