CHATHAM, NJ — Ian Reardon is the 2023 recipient of the Christine K. Grobert Chatham Emergency Squad Scholarship.
Since 2014, the CES Scholarship has been awarded to the Chatham High student who has shown a commitment to volunteerism and/or displayed an interest in the field of medicine or science.
“Ian is a perfect example of the quality of student that makes our cadet program shine,” Nicole DiMaggio, CES Captain and Deputy Cadet Manager, said. “He is smart, inquisitive, mature and both learns from and teaches his fellow EMTs. We are so proud of him and all our cadets.”
Reardon, an Eagle Scout, has enrolled in the Nursing and Healthcare Management Program at the University of Pennsylvania. This summer, his goal is to become a certified EMT.
